Small Business Class Starting in Cape Coral on April 20

Applications being accepted for Goodwill MicroEnterprise program
 
CAPE CORAL, Fla. - March 31, 2015 - PRLog -- The Goodwill Southwest Florida MicroEnterprise Institute is seeking entrepreneurs for its upcoming class, to be held in Cape Coral at the Nicholas Annex Community Room (815 Nicholas Pkwy East) on April 20.

The Goodwill Southwest Florida MicroEnterprise Institute is a training program to help emerging entrepreneurs start new ventures and grow small businesses. Graduates complete a business and management training course and work with mentors who are successful businesspersons.

“Over 300 entrepreneurs have graduated this program,” says Elliott Rittenhouse, Goodwill MicroEnterprise program director. “This course is an opportunity for people to become independent.”

The classes will be held, in partnership with the City of Cape Coral, on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. and will cover everything from accounting to marketing, insurance to funding. After the completion of the course, eligible participants may apply for a microloan collateral guarantee from Goodwill.
