Wiggle Expands Cycle Service Network With New Wiggle Workshop In Milton Keynes

 
March 31, 2015 - PRLog -- Following the success of its first ever cycle service centre, opened in St Albans in September 2014 and based within Homebase, Wiggle, the UK’s biggest online cycling and tri-sports retailer, is set to open its second Centre in Milton Keynes (also in Homebase) on 2nd April 2015. The new Centre, named the Wiggle Workshop, will follow the existing format - offering bike service and repair, click and collect and expert sales advice to local cycle enthusiasts.

The new Wiggle Workshop will be providing an invaluable service to local cyclists in what has been identified as one of Britain’s cycling ‘hot spots’. The Wiggle Workshop will link into Wiggle’s existing customer and brand fan base in the area and provide customers with a dedicated, social ‘base’ from which to:

Get their bikes serviced and repaired

Click and collect and return Wiggle orders

Get great advice from an experienced team of cycle experts

Order in store and collect next day

Customers of Wiggle Workshop in Milton Keynes will be offered an exclusive introductory offer of 10% off when they spend £100 at the store from its opening on 2nd April through until Easter Monday on 6th April. From 7th April any bike purchased from the Milton Keynes Wiggle Workshop will receive one year’s free servicing worth £150.

According to Heather Powell, Wiggle Retail Development Director, “We are delighted with how quickly the Wiggle Workshop concept has been adopted by cyclists and by the increasing customer demand. Success to date has exceeded expectations and we are currently actively assessing other sites in cycle hot spots that might be suitable for this concept that provides an on-the- ground manifestation of the Wiggle brand.”

The new site opening comes at an exciting time for the brand as 2015 also sees the continued expansion of Wiggle’s fast-growing cycle-centric customer service ‘hub’ concept, which currently includes the two Wiggle Service Centres and Wiggle Legal (http://legal.wiggle.co.uk/). A further two more Wiggle Workshop sites are due to open later this year as well as two more brand new customer services.
