Follow on Google News | A Shower of Great Shows from The Projection Booth in AprilBy: The Projection Booth It's no joke that the Projection Booth's April 1st episode on Darren Aranofsky's Requiem For a Dream features interviews with Academy Award-winning actress Ellen Burstyn along with Emmy-winner Keith David, Christopher McDonald and Mark Margolis. The episode also features guest co-host "Deadly Dolls Emily" from The Feminine Critique podcast. On April 8th the show focuses on the science fiction classic Logan's Run and features interviews with the original writers of the Logan's Run book, William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson. Guest co-host Eric Cohen can be heard on the Cinefiles podcast as part of the This Is Infamous network. The world of Adult Babies is explored on the April 15 episode which looks at three films: Bad Boy Bubby, The Baby, and La Vida Lactea. Guests include Ian Jones, the cinematographer of Bad Boy Bubby; David Mooney, the titular Baby; and a group of Adult Babies who describe what this particular fetish entails. Guest co-host, Fraulein Von B -- a professional dominatrix -- brings an interesting take to this trio of unusual movies. On April 22, writer/director Vincenzo Natali returns to The Projection Booth to discuss his film Splice. This modern Frankenstein tale stars Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley. Also returning to the show is guest co-host Jamie Jenkins of Devour the Podcast. Finally, on April 29 the Projection Booth focuses on Ken Russell's Altered States and features interviews with actors Charles Haid and Bob Balaban. Scott Clickers of the Married with Clickers podcast guest co-hosts. Seveal bonus episodes are also in the works for April but those are meant as surprises.
