Intranet Connections announces its latest release Super Search (Version 13.0) to revolutionize enterprise search and maximize productivity.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - March 31, 2015 - PRLog -- Intranet Connections launches its latest release Super Search (Version 13.0) of their intranet software. The product release focuses solely on enterprise search, and has completely overhauled the previous search functionality.  The highlights of the Super Search release include:

·         New Search Engine (http://www.intranetconnections.com/documents/intranet-connections-super-search-feature-guide.pdf)

·         Preview Display Cards (http://www.intranetconnections.com/intranet-software/corporate-intranet/enterprise-search/display-cards/)

·         Controlled Search Security (http://www.intranetconnections.com/intranet-software/corp...)

Intranet Connections’ new search engine, released in Super Search, has revolutionized enterprise search (http://www.intranetconnections.com/blog/revolutionize-ent...) to display the most relevant search matches in the first results to maximize productivity (http://www.intranetconnections.com/blog/intranet-search-designed-maximum-productivity/). With the new search engine user interface (UI), users get the look, feel and functionality of popular search engines they personally use every day. Additionally, Super Search introduced Preview Display Cards, which ensures users spend little time determining if they have found the correct document with a visual preview of the search results within the search engine.

The choice to focus on enterprise search for the latest release was simple, as Carolyn Douglas, Founder and CEO of Intranet Connections, discussed: “Enterprise intranet search functionality is proving to be more critical than ever as today’s mature intranets face thousands of data entries, pages, forms, and uploaded corporate documents and policies. Employees’ expectations are higher than ever to deliver on an intranet search utility that is fast, focused, intelligent and super simple. We wanted to introduce intranet search that is not just functional but an entire experience.”

Douglas also reports that Super Search was a result of close collaboration with Intranet Connections’ customers (http://www.intranetconnections.com/about-business-intranet-software/our-intranet-customers/) who were active in feedback for the design and feature set capabilities, ensuring the product release would enhance their needs for enterprise intranet search.

One early adopter of the Super Search release was Rio Rancho Public Schools with Internet Services Manager, Peter Barron. Barron has been using Intranet Connections for fifteen years and has seen nearly every product release of the intranet software. Barron was blown away with the new search capabilities, sharing: “Super Search has definitely improved access around our intranet and decreased the ‘where is it’ problems with more accurate search results.  The search results are much better organized, accessible and immediately filterable.”

Spawglass, another early adopter of Super Search, was highly impressed with the Super Search release, seeing instant value when employee productivity on the intranet skyrocketed.  Richard Evans, IT Manager at Spawglass, commented: “Super Search from Intranet Connections has immediately lead to increased productivity on our intranet. We no longer have to search through pages of search results, as the correct results are displayed in the first few results in the new search engine. Having the visual confirmation of Display Cards has made confirming accurate results instant for our employees.”

Pima Federal Credit Union has heavy reliance on intranet search and quickly became an early adopter of Intranet Connections’ Super Search, enthusiastically evaluating the latest release. Ryan Sonnenberg, Community Stewardship Officer at Pima Federal Credit Union, accentuated: “Honestly, I would recommend the latest release, Super Search, of Intranet Connections to any organization whose employees heavily utilize intranet search. Super Search was a must have for us, with our employees relying on our intranet search daily. Making search on the intranet easier for employees has made them more productive and happier, which essentially rolls down to happier credit union members. Super Search was a strategic decision to make search easier for our employees and we are so glad we did.”
