White Stores Donate £2,691.20 To Greenfingers Charity

WICKFORD, U.K. - March 30, 2015 - PRLog -- White Stores, the UK's leading outdoor living retailer of garden furniture & accessories, have raised £2,691.20 for the Greenfingers children's hospices charity.

Greenfingers create magical new gardens at children's hospices across the UK. The chance for families and friends to spend time together outdoors, and away from the bedside, is precious and can bring many benefits to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.

White Stores donated 10% of net sales* (online, phone and in-store) on all products sold during Garden Re-Leaf Day 2015, Greenfingers' national fundraising event day, last Friday. With White Stores' first garden centre retail concession opening in Yarnton, Oxfordshire during the same week, it was the perfect opportunity for the White Stores team to maximise the total amount of sales possible.

Our customers, like the rest of us here at White Stores, jumped at the chance to do something positive for Greenfingers and the amazing work they do for children and families nationwide."
