Elena Buchkovskaya Secret to Unique Creativity

Elena Buchkovskaya, European interior designer now in New York City, uses traveling as an inspiration for her designs. There’s nothing like the beaches in Barcelona or Wölffer Estate Vineyards in the Hamptons to spark new color and design ideas.

NEW YORK - March 30, 2015 - PRLog -- Elena’s love for traveling started from a young age, as she walked in Dushanbe’s markets and was amazed at the unique color mixes she found on palettes filled with fruits, vegetables, silk, and rugs. As she reached her teenage years, Elena Buchkovskaya traveled to Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia to explore new architecture and adventure herself into new cultures and traditions. She knew, from a very young age, that she wanted to bring all these traits into one beautiful room.

Today, Elena Buchkovskaya’s traveling experiences ignite her creative gene as she is easily inspired by nature’s unusual shapes and colors.  Barcelona’s Park Gaudi and Gaudi’s La Sagrada Familia “opens up the doors to infinite creativity and proves that there are no limits to imagination,” says Elena Buchkovskaya.

She admires the soft elegance of Provence in the South of France, with its lavender and sunflower fields comfortably coexisting with modern windmills, creating a modern look in a traditional environment.

Being a lover of all things nature, Elena Buchkovskaya spent her traveling days hiking to absorb the atmosphere as much as she could. The fresh air unleashed her creativity and opened her mind to new ideas for her interior designing business. As she traveled in the mountains and forests on unknown territory, Elena Buchkovskaya developed her personal touch in designing the inside of a home.

Seeing the beautiful landscape, always so colorful, sunny yet unpredictable, Elena was inspired to use her love of nature in her design projects. Every house she turn into a home has one touch that is Elena Buchkovskaya’s signature: the unique color addition to a modern, minimalist environment.

Every home she designs has a little bit of Barcelona, Hungary or Italy, either through distinctive color palettes or remarkable furniture choice. The walls might say New York, but the sofa screams Italia.
