The first is the story of a young combat veteran taking a walking tour through rural Holland hoping to dispel the demons of his combat experience only to find demons of another kind. The second story tells the tale of an old professor nearing retirement, bored with life who stumbles upon satanic ritual activity while on hiatus in a borrowed cabin in the woods. Hauntings is sure to delight fans of supernatural horror fiction.

  The Haunting of Reuversweerd was inspired by the true story of a Baron's castle being commandeered by the Nazi's near the end of World War II. The Nazi's eventually executed the baron in the spring of 1945 shortly before the end of the war. His widow closed and boarded up the castle forbidding anyone entry. Castle Reuversweerd has remained vacant to this day. For whatever reason the castle has earned the reputation of being haunted. The haunting of Reuversweerd is fiction and is not to be confused with historical fact, it is my firm belief that at times truth is best told as fiction.
