Dan Signor Project to Headline Concert to Benefit The Foundation for the Developmentally Disable

Alive in the World concert at Alto Live Jazz Kitchen on April 17

NAPLES, Fla. - March 26, 2015 - PRLog -- The Dan Signor Project will headline this spring’s “Alive in the World” Concert benefiting The Foundation for The Developmentally Disabled. The concert and auction event is presented by the Trust for the Advancement of Responsible Artists (TARA) and will be held at Alto Live Jazz Kitchen on April 17, 2015 beginning at 6:00 p.m.

This group of talented musicians will bring a unique blend of soulful vocals, rocking piano, jazzy sax and funky drums to their live performance. The three-piece band lists Elliot Smith, Billy Joel, Tori Amos, Pink Floyd and The Beatles as their musical influences.  The Dan Signor project is led by Signor on piano and vocals, Jason O’Neil on saxophone and Jerry Escobedo on drums.

Bob Goldman founded TARA because of his interest in autism and other developmental disabilities. “The Foundation for the Developmentally Disabled is committed to ensuring that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families have the support they need to be full members of the community,” Goldman says. “Just supporting the cause is reason enough to come to this event. But, people also get a great performance by artists they might otherwise never get to see.”  Previous concerts have included Arnold McCuller, Ben Taylor, Beth Nielsen Chapman and Rodney Crowell, Brandi Carlile and Phoebe Snow.

The event is sponsored by Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc., Goldman Felcoski & Stone, P.A., Grant Fridkin Pearson, P.A., Goodman Breen & Gibbs, Naples Global Advisors and Trianon Hotels.  Additional sponsorships are available.

The “Alive in the World” Concert, featuring The Dan Signor Project will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015. The Community School of Naples jazz superstars will open the show.  The event kicks off at 6:00 p.m. with cocktails, victuals and information about The Foundation for the Developmentally Disabled.    Tickets for the event are $150 each, and only 150 tickets will be sold.
