Passion Turned Paycheck: A Night with Furniture Maker Michael Fitzpatrick

BOSTON - March 26, 2015 - PRLog -- WHAT: On Thursday, April 23rd, 2015 from 6:15PM to 7:45PM join furniture maker Michael Fitzpatrick at the Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) as he discusses his craft and how he turned his passion into a career at the BCAE’s ongoing “Passion Turned Paycheck” series. Students will learn about his career path and how his passion helped him gain respect for his unrivaled commitment to quality.

In 2004, Michael Fitzpatrick attended the 2 year master program at the North Bennet Street School in Boston to refine and further his furniture making skills.  After, he set up a shop in Boston, making one-of-a-kind furniture pieces for clients.  In 2012, Fitzpatrick relocated to Westborough, MA where he currently resides in an award winning barn/studio restoration project of his own craft.

Fitzpatrick will join the ranks of past “Passion Turned Paycheck” series participants such as Nella Pasta, Peak Organic and Crush Boutique to share with students how his passion for craftsmanship has turned into a full time career.
