Building Successful Partner Channels in the Software Industry
KLAMPENBORG, Denmark - March 26, 2015 - PRLog -- Using a channel of independent companies to find, win, make, keep and grow happy customers has a long tradition in the short history of the software industry. For some software companies the channel has been a major contributor to global success, but for most software companies making it work remains a depressing and constant struggle.

"I have written this book for B2B software industry executives that have chosen or are considering taking the indirect channel route to market leadership," says Hans Peter Bech, the author of the book. "The primary objective of this book is not just to discuss how to build a channel. The objective is to achieve market leadership. The channel is “just” one of the means of getting and staying there."

The book does not recommend the indirect channel approach over any other go-to-market option. This book aims to help software executives that - for valid reasons - have chosen the indirect channel approach and to support them in getting it right.

The foreword is written by Preben Damgaard, one of the founders of Navision (acquired by Microsoft in 2002) that built a channel partner eco-system, which became the basis for many new and successful companies that employed thousands of people delivering value to thousands of customers all over the world.

"I can think of no one better suited than Hans Peter to write a book with the title Building Successful Partner Channels," says Preben Damgaard, "and I am sure you will find guidelines and inspiration that you can use directly in your own business."

The book will be available 31st March 2015 on Amazon for Kindle ($9.99) and in a printed paperback format ($16.95).
