Filmomaniac Hosts Web Series Night

NEW YORK - March 25, 2015 - PRLog -- Filmomaniac, a screening and networking event created by Actress/Producer Maylin Castro and Actress Hiroko Tanaka McHenry, is dedicated to showcasing quality short films, documentaries and web series.

Castro stated that the 2015 launch of Filmomaniac, “was a great springboard to the upcoming season. We had a great turn out, and are grateful for the community of artists that continue to come together for this initiative.”

The March edition of Filmomaniac, “provides a platform to celebrate quality web series,” and to honor filmmakers, actors, and producers that are “taking creative control of their work by using new media,” says Castro.

The lineup for the evening includes the following award-winning and buzz-worthy content creators:

·         "CaucAsian" by Joseph Patrick Conroy

·         "Reasons Y I'm Single" by Elaine Del Valle

·         "Hey Yun" by Hey Yun Park

·         "Kelsey" by Christina Raia

·         "Jewvangelist" by Becky Kramer

The March edition of Filmomaniac will be hosted by Maylin Castro and co-hosted by actress Lisann Valentin and filmmaker Joseph Patrick Conroy.
