Michele A. Pincus Named to Long Island Index Advisory Committee

UNIONDALE, N.Y. - March 25, 2015 - PRLog -- UNIONDALE, NEW YORK — Sahn Ward Coschignano & Baker, PLLC has announced that Michele A. Pincus, a Partner with the Firm, has been named as a member of the Advisory Committee with Long Island Index.

Long Island Index is an annual report focusing on the issues facing Long Island. The members of the Advisory Committee identify key goals for the region and develop plans for these reports on different topics such as employment, the economy, housing, development, the environment and school spending, among others. The goal of these reports is to chart how the region is doing on an annual basis and to ensure that the data provided is useful, unbiased information that will lead to greater community awareness of Long Island issues and to serve as a catalyst for action.

As Partner with the Firm, Ms. Pincus concentrates her practice in the areas of zoning, land use, commercial litigation, municipal law, real estate and employment law. In addition, she is a Board Member and Membership Committee Co-Chair of the Women’s Economic Developers of Long Island and a Board Member of the Real Estate Institute at Stony Brook University. Most recently, she became a member of the Grant Committee for Long Island Pink Aid, which provides grants to support programs that provide services to underserved women for screening and undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
