Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck Patrons to Host Psychic Night

PATCHOGUE, N.Y. - March 24, 2015 - PRLog -- On April 23, the Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck (http://www.camppaquatuck.com/) Patrons will be hosting Psychic Night at Sunset Harbor Marina, located at 90 Colonial Drive in East Patchogue, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

For $75 per ticket, guests can enjoy an evening of spiritual connections, a buffet dinner, refreshments, and a gallery reading, all for a good cause. The Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck Patrons will also be offering several sponsorship packages, which include tickets to this event. Proceeds from the event will go to help the camp continue to provide programs for its special-needs campers.

Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck is a resident summer camp designed for young people ages 6-21 with special needs. Its mission is to help children and young adults achieve equality, dignity, and maximum independence through a safe and quality program of camping, recreation, and education in a summertime environment, even offering an alumni week for campers who have aged out. Throughout the program, campers participate in typical summer camp activities, such as arts and crafts, talent shows, cook-outs, swimming and boating.

Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck (http://www.camppaquatuck.com/) was created by members of the Moriches Rotary Club in 1946. Located on the shores of Kaler's Pond on eastern Long Island, Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck is funded entirely by donations and is a special place where children and young adults with physical and developmental disabilities can experience first hand the pleasures that an active life has to offer. They participate in a wide range of activities especially designed for those who are in wheelchairs as well as those who are ambulatory. These activities include swimming, boating, arts and crafts, petting zoo, talent shows, cook-outs, games and a Carnival Day. The program also provides educational activities in areas such as nature, arts, fire safety and communication skills.
