Elizabeth’s Secret Beauty Bar Presents The Love Tour 2015 Miami Launch

MIAMI - March 24, 2015 - PRLog -- “The world around us may appear chaotic, but the key to healing the illusion of fear, pain and shame is inside us,” says Versandra Kennebrew, Certified Holistic Health Coach and Co-Author of “I Love Me: The Ultimate Self-Care Guide for Healing Artists.” The Love Tour 2015 is her brainchild and for the past two-years she has been contemplating how she could share what she feels is an urgent message of self-love with the masses.

Kennebrew began her career in the health and wellness industry in 1999, became a sought after massage therapist servicing celebrity clients, while managing a community wellness resource center and a team of practitioners who provided on-site corporate massage in Detroit, MI. In her first book, “Thank God for the Shelter: Memoirs of a Homeless Healer,” she tells the story of how depression and despair landed her in a homeless shelter where she found the courage and strength to rise above major life challenges to achieve a level of success she never thought possible. She returned to college to study mental health in 2010 and in February she graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York.

The Honorable Akhenaten S’M’L-Bey, Co-Author of “I Love Me,” is also the Co-Producer of Kennebrew’s weekly radio program, Health & Healing Chronicles. This duo is on a mission to enlighten those who nurture and care for others about the necessity of self-care. They want to challenge healing artists to engage in daily self-care regimens, not only for themselves, but for the betterment of humanity.

When Elizabeth Garcia, proprietor of Elizabeth’s Secret Beauty Bar heard about The Love Tour 2015, she felt Kennebrew’s passion and decided to become the lead Love Tour Ambassador for Miami.  She began assembling her Miami team which includes collaborations with EcoTech Visions, Empower Market and Whole Foods Market. Students and alumni of the healing arts, foodies and green living aficionados are all invited to share in the official launch of The Love Tour 2015.
