Wine ConneXtion’s Northwestern Wines Rival California Grapes

March 24, 2015 - PRLog -- WHAT: The California wine industry has been experiencing some stiff competition from up and coming wineries in Washington and Oregon. On Saturday, April 11th, 2015 the Wine ConneXtion located in North Andover, MA invites guests to explore these amazing wines from Northwestern states typically credited for Rieslings and Pinot Noirs at their complimentary tasting, “A Taste of the Northwest.”

Washington and Oregon wine regions are known for producing great Pinot Noirs and Rieslings.  However, in recent years they have been producing amazing Cabernets, Merlots and Chardonnays to rival some of California’s best. The staff will be pouring the Wine ConneXtion’s top recommendations from 1:00PM to 5:00PM as they explain why the Northwest Cabernets and Merlots measure up to the top wines in the U.S.

Walk-ins are welcome all day. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend.
