Remerica Real Estate announces new office in Au Gres, Michigan

March 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Regional Real Estate firm Remerica Real Estate announced the opening of its 14^th office in Au Gres, Michigan. The Remerica Action Realty office was opened by broker Robert Wiltse, a longtime resident of the area and local Real Estate expert. It marks Remerica’s most Northern office and comes on the heels of the Standish office Wiltse opened last year.

Wiltse has been in Real Estate foryears and has committed himself to his Northern Michigan home. He is so devoted to the area that in the 1990s, he turned down multiple offers to purchase and develop his scenic Charity Island property and instead resides there himself with his wife. He sold most of the 300-acre island to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and a few acres (including a historic lighthouse) to the Nature Conservancy. Wiltse and his wife kept five acres and now run day excursions for tourists.

“This part of the state is really special,” said Wiltse. “I knew it back then when I opted to keep the island pristine and undeveloped, and I’ve known it ever since. I love selling Real Estate here; we make people’s dreams come true every day.”
