By: LINQ Conference

BRUSSELS - March 24, 2015 - PRLog -- The final chance to take advantage of the early-bird conference fee for the 4th annual international conference on “Learning Innovations and Quality” (LINQ 2015) will end on 31 March 2015. Participants are encouraged to register before this date and join LINQ in Brussels to discuss the newest developments in educational technology and open education. After 31 March, the cost for attending LINQ 2015 will increase by 50 euros.

LINQ 2015 will bring together some of the most innovative researchers in e-learning from around the world. For the first time under patronage of the UNESCO Institute for IT in Education (IITE - iite.unesco.org), Officer-in-Chief Dr. Alexander Khoroshilov will hold a keynote and Zeynep Varoglu from the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris will lead a workshop on inclusive education. In addition members of the International Community of Open Research and Education (ICORE - www.icore-online.org) will foster the potential connections and interactions between open research and educational practices. Europe’s largest learning technology project, Open Discovery Space (ODS - www.opendiscoveryspace.eu), will host a high-level pre-conference event on innovative school education, a theme regarding which the project has collected uniquely extensive experience. All highlights of LINQ 2015 can be seen at 2015.learning-innovations.eu/linq-2015-programme/highlights/.

Though non-profit in nature, the conference fee and registration through the LINQ website is required, as accommodations are limited. The fee includes all provisions, including warm lunches, coffee breaks, the conference bag, and a copy of the official conference proceedings. At least one author has to register for the conference for the publication of an accepted paper or paper in the proceedings.

Outstanding workshops and scientific papers from the LINQ 2015 Calls, selected by the International Programme Committee in double-blind peer-review, provide a first overview of the promising LINQ 2015 programme. Their titles and authors have been published on the conference website at www.learning-innovations.eu.
