www.ASD-DR.com has created an online searchable database of over 300 colleges across the United States that provide support services for autistic college students. This is the first database of its kind, specifically identifying 2-year and 4-year post-secondary schools with support programs for autistic students.

Colleges and Universities are divided into 3 categories; Those who run their own autistic specific programs, those who use a 3rd party vendor to provide autistic specific services and those who have support programs for special needs students that are not specific to autism. These are designated as 'friendly' to autistic students because they have consistently shown a willingness to work with students to ensure they receive the accommodations and services they need.

"Autistic students can be very successful in college if they receive the support they need," says Dawn Marcotte CEO of ASD-DR.com "and success in college can lead to success in finding a job."

A sneak peek is available to review this database for those who sign up before March 30. Space is limited for this preview.

A public launch of the database is tentatively scheduled for late May.

www.ASD-DR.com started as a website to help parents of autistic children find the services and supports they need though a database of autism support providers. In 2015 the company has refocused efforts on providing information for autistic teens and young adults. The college database is the first step in that direction.
