Hedgepeth, Heredia & Rieder's Rebecca Crumrine Rieder Named to Georgia’s Top 100 Super Lawyers

ATLANTA - March 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Rebecca Crumrine Rieder, founding partner of Hedgepeth, Heredia & Rieder in Atlanta, has been honored with inclusion in the Georgia’s “Top 100 lawyers” and “Top 50 Women Lawyers” in Atlanta magazine’s Super Lawyers rankings of Georgia attorneys. She is one of only nine women on the Top 100 list.

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The list appeared in the March 2015 issue of Atlanta magazine. Of the several hundred Georgia attorneys so selected, Crumrine Rieder was honored as one of the Top 100 by her peers and as one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Georgia.

Crumrine Rieder practices in all areas of family law, including divorce and separation. She is currently the chair of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia. Additional past honors, recognitions and community service include:

Prior to practicing law, Crumrine Rieder taught middle and high school at Davidson Fine Arts School in Augusta, Georgia.

Crumrine Rieder received her undergraduate degree from the University of the South in 1991, her MEd from the University of Georgia in 1994, and her JD degree from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2001.  She spent her formative years in Augusta, Georgia, graduating from Augusta Preparatory School.

She is involved in the community, including volunteer leadership roles with Breakthru House and Neighbor in Need, Inc. She is a member of the Leadership DeKalb class of 2012, and volunteers for Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and DeKalb Volunteer Lawyers Foundation as a Pro Bono Guardian ad Litem for families in need. She also serves as vice-chair of the board for the Dekalb Volunteer Lawyers Foundation.

She lives with her husband Doug in the Dunwoody neighborhood of Atlanta.
