Ag Broker / Strategist

The Ag Hedge group provides professional risk management advisory for the agricultural supply chain. Working together within a group brokers/strategists, responsibilities include:

Suggesting strategy to clients (within the bounds set by group's Chief Market Strategist)
Providing order execution, analysis and servicing existing client accounts
Monitor markets and interpret market reports
Meeting with clients, mostly via phone - some face to face
Developing and maintaining client relationships

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with high integrity and will possess the following skills and competencies:

Determined and competitive with the ability to work under pressure
Skilled in Options with strong analytical skills
Ability to negotiate
Extremely well-organized with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to plan, prioritize and balance multiple tasks and
Strong interpersonal skills with good verbal and written communication
Excellent sales ability required

QUALIFICATIONS

4 year degree in Ag, finance, mathematics or similar
3-5 years experience related field
Existing book of business (preferred but not required)
Series 3 licensing (preferred but not required)

COMPENSATION

Percentage of gross commissions paid to broker
