Exco Levi’s Reggae to Burn Ottawa’s Babylon!

OTTAWA, Ontario - March 22, 2015 - PRLog -- On Thursday March 26, 2015, 4 time JUNO Award winner Exco Levi will burn down Ottawa’s Babylon night club as his brand of Roots Reggae takes centre stage at the cities well known Caribbean venue!

Produced by CHUO’s Rockers, and Exco Levi’s newly formed label High Priest Music, this exclusive one night show centers around the release of Exco’s first full length studio album, Country Man, which is distributed in Canada by Warner Music Canada.  The 19 track disc, produced by Donovan Germain for Penthouse Records and High Priest Music has already topped Reggae charts in Canada and Switzerland, and hears Exco sing songs of faith, perseverance and overcoming of obstacles.  The album also features guest performances by Romain Virgo, Jah Mali and Grammy Award Winner, Mykal Rose.  Songs such as “Country Man,” “Letter to Jah” and “Storms of Life” will be performed for Ottawa fans.

Of the performance, Exco says “I’m looking forward to performing at Babylon.  Ottawa has always been supportive of my music so they’ll be one of the first to hear music from my album.  It’s going to be good!”  Also performing with Exco is Toronto’s JUNO nominee, Ammoye, whose recently released Lover’s Rock EP, Baby It’s You features songs “Radio,” “Baby It’s You” and “Cool and Deadly.”  These songs have been added to rotation Stingray’s (formerly known as Galaxy) Reggae channel which is heard across the country via cable subscription.  Adding Dancehall flavor is performing artist Chuxx Starr.

Host and promoter of the show Papa Richie adds “Ottawa hasn’t had much of an International live band Reggae experience, so the timing of this show is perfect.”
