Volunteer for VOA North Texas Shootout

IRVING, Texas - March 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Have you ever wanted to volunteer and help out at a professional golf tournament?  Your opportunity is coming, so sign up now while volunteer spots are still available.  The VOA North Texas Shootout, an LPGA official event, will be held at Las Colinas Country Club April 30 –May 03, 2015, drawing national and international attention within the golf world and beyond.

Golf is a sport, which emphasizes character, integrity, honesty, self-discipline and sportsmanship for a lifetime.  Numerous volunteers are needed to help at the tournament and this is a great opportunity for the volunteers to mingle with players and participants. Volunteers, players and participants all share these traits.

Sheila Natho, Golf and Running Advocate says, “I volunteer every year for the North Texas Shootout since it is a great opportunity to see the ladies of the LPGA up close.  I am also glad to assist this event since it helps The Nexus Club raise funds for local charities.  These charities promote learning and growing for girls and women through the game of golf.”

Volunteers will have the opportunity to network, meet the players, other volunteers and participants.  The ability to leverage these relationships may be beneficial to growth and expansion of your personal and professional network.
