March 20, 2015 Is On Sensory Overload

LOS ANGELES - March 20, 2015 - PRLog -- Today is a special day. First of all, if you’re reading this, you’re so fortunate to be literate, technologically equipped, vision enabled, alive, and the list goes on and on. It’s important to keep things in perspective and be grateful everyday. But, today we have reason to be a little more appreciative. Today, the cosmos will be overly generous with its celestial gifts.

March 20 is traditionally recognized as the Vernal Equinox (“Spring Equinox” in the Northern Hemisphere) and refers to the time of year when day and night are of equal duration; midway between the longest and shortest days of the year. It marks the first of two times every year when the Earth’s axis is perpendicular to the Sun’s rays.

Today, March 20, 2015, there are two more significant galactic events: a solar eclipse and a supermoon. A solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes directly between the Sun and the Earth, casting a shadow over a portion of the Earth that would otherwise receive direct sunlight. A supermoon refers to the Moon’s close fly-by of the Earth. During this time the Moon appears larger in size. However, since we are in a new moon phase, it will not be visible.

Whether you’re the type of person that recognizes it or not, all beings on the Earth will be affected.
