Beretta to launch GunPod 2, the world's first digital hunting diary

GARDONE VAL TROMPIA, Italy - March 20, 2015 - PRLog -- During IWA OutdoorClassics 2015, Beretta unveiled GunPod 2, a system that will revolutionise the way hunters live and share their experience.

Thanks to a smart Bluetooth shot-counter and a mobile app, the shotgun is now able to connect to a smartphone in order to collect and gather all the relevant data of a hunting day out, such as itinerary, images and videos, in a comprehensive digital diary inclusive of stats and ready to be shared on social networks. Furthermore, GunPod 2 provides also a useful emergency call facility: just a couple of taps are needed to start the call, providing the exact GPS location and facilitating the rescue in case of needed help. GunPod 2 is designed and developed by Beretta with the support of Italian partners, and soon to be available both for iOS and Android smartphones.

Just like runners and cyclists, from today hunters have their own digital diary: its name is Beretta GunPod 2.
