Catlilli Games Launches STEM Education Products

WASHINGTON - March 19, 2015 - PRLog -- WASHINGTON – March 19, 2015 — Catlilli Games (www.catlilli.com) proudly announces the release of new tabletop games designed for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education.

Formed by a team of scientists, engineers, historians, and educators, Catlilli Games believes in the power of learning through play.  During their years in education, all members witnessed the ability of young children to absorb complex scientific concepts when presented in game format.

Together, Catlilli Games is utilizing its expertise to engage children of all ages in STEM topics.  Their games have already attracted the attention of the Marian Koshland Science Museum of the National Academy of Sciences (https://www.koshland-science-museum.org/), which featured their biology-based game Cycles at its Feb. 14 community event, “Creating a Resilient World.”

Their initial release of STEM education games includes

Atomic Adventures (http://catlilli.com/?product=atom-adventures):  Designed to introduce elementary students to the periodic table, this memory game seeks to educate children about the smallest particles in the universe:  atoms.   Kids learn about different kinds of atoms as they match them up with corresponding materials/applications. Targeted for ages 5 and up.

Cycles (http://catlilli.com/?product=cycles):  Featured at the Koshland Science Museum (https://www.koshland-science-museum.org/), this biology-based card game allows children to explore biological cycles. Players build sets of 13 cycles from themes including life cycles, nature cycles, and genetic engineering. Two levels of rules exist for younger vs. older players. Targeted for ages 5 and up.

Catlillii Games hope to attract both teachers and families, as they strongly support the theory that education starts at home.  Their goal is to design fun, educational games that even adults will enjoy playing.
