VANCOUVER, British Columbia - March 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Canadian Fertility Consultants, a full service fertility consulting firm, specializing in Surrogacy and Egg Donation is sponsoring a contest offering "5,000 towards an IVF cycle".  The contest is called "Sprouting Hope" contest.  The contest starts on March 18th, and wraps up on May 19th, during Canadian Infertility Awareness Week, and CFC hopes it puts a much needed spotlight on the issue of infertility in Canada.

The contest advertises a chance for a person/couple to win 5,00\0 towards an IVF cycle, at their Fertility clinic. This is the first contest in Canada to offer 5,000 without stipulating that they are a straight couple,or referring to the recipient as a Woman. CFC hopes this contest will have Intended Fathers, and single women throwing their hat into the ring, for a chance to win.  The 5,000 for IVF can be used by those going through ivf themselves, OR with the help of a Surrogate mother, egg donor, or both.

Participants will be able to send friends, and family to the site https://www.facebook.com/CanadianSurrogacy?v=app_61092587..., to vote for their video, share it on Social Media, and hopefully bring more awareness to the disease of Infertility that is affecting 1 in 6 couples in Canada.

Founder and CEO of CFC Leia Swanberg was so excited to offer this contest, as she meets with so many couple who will be amazing parents, if only they had the finances to go forward with an IVF cycle.

Currently Quebec is the only province in Canada that is offering free Ivf cycles, although it appears that may change in the near future, with many rules being placed on those accessing services in Quebec.  CFC hopes that a contest like this will bring awareness to the financial burden on those trying desperately to build their families, often spending 10,000 to 50,000 on ivf cycles, medication, and in some cases Surrogates, and Egg donors.

Leia also hopes that this contest puts a face to that 1 in 6 statistic, and that Canadians are made aware of the often private struggle that people go through to have a baby.

CFC has opened this contest up to all Canadian residents.
