ONTARIO, Calif. - March 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Southland Sensing Ltd. is pleased to introduce the new percent oxygen purity analyzer for measuring o2 in industrial applications.  The new device offers a large full color display, USB data logging via removable flash drive, 1/8" Swagelok tube fittings and our proprietary precision microfuel cell oxygen sensors.

The OMD-480 Percent Oxygen Purity Analyzer is an intelligent microprocessor-controlled instrument that is supplied to monitor oxygen with full scale ranges from 0 - 1% to 0 - 100%.  The unit is powered by a rechargeable Ni-Cad battery which can be charged from a 100 - 240V AC adapter, international adapters are included with the unit.  The analyzer can function as a portable unit with its battery pack, or you can simply plug in the AC adapter and run it continuously.

Along with the USB data logging feature via a removable flash drive, the unit also offers an analog 0 - 1V DC output.

Auto-range and five analysis ranges including 0 - 1/5/10/25 and 100% are standard.  Gas connections are made via Swagelok 1/8" tube fittings with an inlet rating of 0 - 60 PSIG and a flow recommendation of 0.5 - 5.0 SCFH.

Housed in an IP66 (NEMA4X) enclosure, this industrial oxygen analyzer is ready for the toughest environments.

When specifying your oxygen measurement system, don't forget to include Southland Sensing's proprietary precision fuel cell oxygen sensors.  The PO2-160 sensor has an expected life of 5 years in most applications.  The PO2-24 is ideal when measuring in oxygen in carbon dioxide applications.

Typical applications will include pipeline leak detection, exhaust manifold monitoring, inert gas welding, air separation, n2 skids, biological fermentation, petrochemicals, fertilizer production as well as many others.
