Pallamary's guide to dramatic writing grew out of his popular Phantastic Fiction Workshop which incorporates elements of shamanism that have formed the basis for Joseph Campbell’s legendary Hero’s Journey. Through his research into both the written word and the ancient beliefs of shamanism, he has uncovered the heart of what a story really is and integrated it into core dramatic concepts that have their basis in shamanism. Pallamary’s packed workshops have been a staple of the Santa Barbara Writers Conference and the Southern California Writer’s Conference for over twenty five years.

His first short story collection, "The Small Dark Room of the Soul" won the acclaim of Science Fiction legend Ray Bradbury with the words "Bravo! More!"

His historical novel of first contact between shamans and Jesuits in 18th century South America, titled, "Land Without Evil", received rave reviews and was adapted into a full-length stage and sky show, co-written with Agent Red and performed by Sky Candy, an Austin Texas aerial group. The making of the show was the subject of a PBS series, Arts in Context episode, which garnered an EMMY nomination.

His memoir "Spirit Matters", details his journeys to the jungles of Peru. It was also released as an audio book, narrated by the author.

"The Infinity Zone" written with tennis pro Paul Mayberry explores the phenomena that occurs at the nexus of perfect form and motion that can bring balance, power, and control to a number of physical and mental activities on multiple levels.

"DreamLand" is a science fiction thriller about computer generated dreaming written with renowned D.J. Ken Reeth.

"Eye of the Predator" is a shamanic thriller about a young man's quest for the truth that leads him into a murky world of magical plants and ancient shamanic rituals that ultimately bring him face to face with the enigmatic mystery of his past.

"CyberChrist" is a science fiction thriller about a reporter who receives an email from a man who claims to have discovered immortality by turning off the aging gene in a 15 year old boy with an aging disorder.  When her own investigators do more checking, none of them return while the forwarded email becomes the basis for an online church built around the boy, calling him the CyberChrist.

His recently published tribute to Ray Bradbury, a short story collection titled “A Short Walk to the Other Side” was an Award Winning Finalist in the International Book Awards and an Award Winning Finalist in the USA Best Book Awards.
