2015 JDRF West Texas Plains Vision Promise Ball Gala

AMARILLO, Texas - March 18, 2015 - PRLog -- The JDRF West Texas Plains Branch 2015 Vision Promise Ball is coming up March 28th, 2015 at The Heritage Ballroom in the Amarillo Civic Center. The event will start at 6:00pm and will end at midnight. All proceeds will go towards funding research to find a cure for diabetes.

Southwest Retina Specialists are the Corporate Honoree and will be recognized with the 2015 Vision Award, also serving as the presenting sponsor. Pam Lary will be recognized as the 2015 Living and Giving Award Recipient.

The evening will include a silent auction, a Barrel Room featuring various wines, a Super Silent Auction Vault, dinner provided by Macaroni Joe’s and a live auction moderated by Neil Bentley with Bentley Auctioneers.  Later in the evening, Diva G and High Maintenance will provide musical entertainment with an appearance from Dr. Richard Kibbey as Neil Diamond. The Youth Ambassadors will be available selling fantasy drawing tickets that feature a trip to New York. The event also will feature a “Fund-A-Cure” drive in which donations are made directly to fund a diabetes research grant.
