The Builders St. Charles Home Show is April 17-19 at the St. Charles Convention Center

ST. LOUIS - March 19, 2015 - PRLog -- The 11^th Annual Builders St. Charles Home Show is April 17-19 at the St. Charles Convention Center, with free admission and parking! The Show is the place to shop the latest home products and services from more than 250 companies in one place. The Show, produced by the Home Builders Association of St. Louis and Eastern Missouri, will include approximately 350 booths, filling both levels of the facility.

The St. Charles Convention Center is conveniently located just off Interstate 70 at Fifth Street in St. Charles and has 70,000 square feet of exhibit space and 1,100 free parking spaces. Find windows, doors, fencing, decks, kitchen and bath products, pools, spas, home accessories and much more – plus the experts to answer every home improvement question.

Harry Rinker, national antiques and collectibles authority, will be presenting informative seminars and offering free appraisals. Rinker is an author, columnist, educator, lecturer, curmudgeon, private collector and dedicated accumulator. He owns a company that specializes in providing appraisal, editorial, educational, research and writing services in the antiques and collectibles field. “Rinker on Collectibles,” his weekly syndicated column now in its 28th year, appears in trade papers, periodicals and websites. Rinker hosts “Whatcha Got?,” a syndicated antiques and collectibles call-in radio show. He also starred in the television show “Collector Inspector” that aired on HGTV from 2002 to 2004 and has authored more than 20 books about antiques and collectibles.

Rinker will present What are My Things Worth When I Try to Sell Them? This seminar explores what retail price means in the secondary antiques and collectibles market and will include a number of insider tips to on how to be a successful buyer. Ten Tips to Successfully Buying Antiques and Collectibles has tips to identify the objects that people have for sale and helps them determine which are period, reproductions or fakes. The seminar also includes recommendations on how to get the best price when selling items. Rinker will also offer free appraisals at the Show, one per person on a first-come, first-served basis, time permitting.

Jeff Holper, The Mole Hunter, presents Taking Your Lawn Back from Moles and Voles, an educational, entertaining program with information on how to get rid of moles, voles and other vermin. Local experts will present additional home improvement seminars at the Better Living Theater.

The St. Charles Sausage Festival & Wine Tasting, in its ninth year, returns as a favorite show destination. This special feature area will have free tastings from Missouri sausage producers and wineries. Show visitors can also purchase items to take home. Davis Meat Processing, Hermann Wurst Haus and Williams Brothers Meat Co. will offer samples of tasty summer sausages and bratwursts, plus various smoked and cured products. Attendees can also taste wines from Arcadian Moon Vineyards & Winery, Fahrmeier Family Vineyards, Stone Hill Winery and Westphalia Vineyards.

Attendees get to be floral designers when they participate in hands-on floral design classes full of fun, innovative ideas presented by Walter Knoll Florist’s world-class design team at the Walter Knoll Floral Stage. Participants will create their own bouquet to take home or give as a gift. They can choose from several types of bouquets, each with a value of at least $80. Classes have a nominal $10 fee per class and space is limited.

Visit the Spa and Swim Spa Super Sale, sponsored by SPAS AND MORE! This spectacular sale offers show visitors the opportunity to shop a wide variety of spas and swim spas. An 1,800 square foot tent will be accessible from just outside the main Show entrance in the south parking lot.

The Home show is always a family-friendly event, and people can bring the kids for free balloon creations and face painting by Premier Entertainment. Kids will also be able to get up close and personal with owls, hawks and falcons, brought to the Show by the Wildlife Command Center.
