COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - March 17, 2015 - PRLog -- After a months-long national search, The United States Olympic Museum and Hall of Fame has chosen Colorado Springs-based Magneti Marketing to assist in the development of its communication strategy.

“The United States Olympic Museum will become one of the city’s most iconic sites, representing Colorado Springs’ passion and commitment to the Olympic movement,” said Kristen Downs, the museum’s director of administration. “After a rigorous review of agency proposals from across the nation, Magneti was selected because we believe it has the unique mix of local, regional and national experience needed to communicate the progress of the museum.”

Magneti Marketing is well known in the Pikes Peak region for its impactful work, supporting such projects as Wildfire Tees, Springs Rescue Mission, Venetucci Farms and Colorado College. In 2014, Magneti was honored by Summit International Awards for creative excellence. The agency specializes in design and video solutions, public relations and offers strategic council across many communication mediums.

“The United States Olympic Museum and Hall of Fame will be a beacon of pride for Colorado Springs and the entire country,” said Adam Williams, CEO of Magneti. “We are humbled by this opportunity and take great satisfaction in knowing we will have a strong role in making the museum one of the most coveted institutions to visit within American sports.”

The museum, projected to open in early 2018, has secured world-class architects and designers to produce what will be an iconic building in the Southwest Urban Renewal District of downtown Colorado Springs. The team includes Anderson Mason Dale Architects of Denver, world-renowned architectural design firm Diller, Scofidio + Renfro of New York, exhibit designer Gallagher and Associates of Washington, D.C., exhibit fabricator Pacific Studio of Seattle and national museum consultant Barrie Projects of Cleveland. GE Johnson of Colorado Springs will serve as the general contractor.

The U.S. Olympic Museum and Hall of Fame in Colorado Springs will be the only comprehensive Olympic and Paralympic Museum in the United States. An iconic complex to be built in the Southwest Urban Renewal District of downtown Colorado Springs, the experiential museum will be a pilgrimage site containing the artifacts, media, technology and the myriad of stories behind the dedicated American athletes who follow their dreams, while showcasing the historical power and national pride surrounding the Olympic Games. http://www.usolympicmuseum.org/
