Follow on Google News | Women in eDiscovery Announces Affiliation with University of Florida’s E-Discovery ConferenceUniversity of Florida’s Third Annual Electronic Discovery Conference is the newest Women in eDiscovery Affiliate
The conference, which takes place on March 27, 2015, focuses on eDiscovery involving social media, mobile devices and the cloud. The conference includes a luncheon, keynote presentation by Craig Ball and a list of distinguished speakers who will demonstrate how to efficiently and defensibly identify and collect digital data and integrate it with traditional electronically stored information. “UF Law is both excited and honored to have WiE as a ‘Friend,’” says William Hamilton, executive director of ICAIR and the UF Law E-Discovery Project. “They are an organization that is committed to the continued professional development of its members. Their support of UF Law’s Third Annual Electronic Discovery Conference demonstrates that we have a program that will be of value to WiE members.” “Women in eDiscovery places a high value on education, networking and leadership development for our members,” says Amy Juers, executive director of Women in eDiscovery. “We are excited to offer UF Law’s annual electronic discovery conference to our membership.” Under the agreement, WiE members can register to attend the conference for $99 in person or $45 online by choosing the “Certified Friend” option at registration. Registration benefits include access to the recorded sessions and 6.5 general CLE credits for eligible attendees. The event is free for anyone currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school, accredited eDiscovery graduate program or accredited paralegal program as well as judicial officials, clerks and employees of government bodies and agencies.
