Toronto Personal Trainer Sculpts Her Body for Bodybuilding Competition

 
TORONTO - March 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Personal trainer Jennifer Fowler will be competing in GNC's Bodybuilding competition on March 21, 2015 in Markham, Ontario, Canada. She is in the final few days of sculpting her own body in preparation for the big day.

Jennifer began her 10-week preparation for the competition. "I didn't even need the full 10 weeks because I stay lean year round," she stated. Learning more about herself and about the process of building and toning muscles in her own body, she intends to attempt a 6-week preparatory regimen in future competitions. According to her, typical competitors will need 12 weeks of preparation time to be competition ready.  In contrast, Jennifer prefers to stay lean and maintain her natural healthy weight throughout the year instead of yo-yo-ing her weight up and down. It's healthier for her metabolism and her body!

"Yo-yo-ing weight" is a term used to describe body weight fluctuations, gaining weight during off-season and losing weight to tone and improve muscle definition during competition seasons. The weight fluctuations are generally regarded as not healthy.

Bodybuilding is a sport of iron will and determination. Extreme high levels of work ethics, discipline, perseverance are needed to see results. Being honest and true to herself, not using any muscle enhancement drugs, every bit success is hard earned.  "I just don't cheat and that's that!" Persevering through the last few weeks of following through strict nutrition plan and the regimented training program is most challenging for her.  "I'm exhausted and am dragging through these last weeks." she added.

When asked why she wants to do this, Jennifer says that she enjoys bodybuilding because "it's like I'm sculpting my body - my body is my art. I've changed my body - through hard work and discipline. It's very fulfilling!"  She is looking forward to a career in female bodybuilding.

With body fat percentage of a little below 14% body fat, she is poised to do well in her competition.
