PRLog -- Local author and social media consultant Jan Zimmerman will present an interactive workshop about using online tools to reach local markets on Saturday, March 28, 2015, from 9 am – noon. The workshop, which will include an interactive marketing exercise, will describe how businesses can reach geographically-
targeted markets on the internet, whether the market is as small as a neighborhood or zip code or as large as a multi-state region. Strategies discussed will include optimizing websites by location; getting found in desktop and mobile search; integrating local social media; using a mobile presence effectively;
and estimating local online advertising costs. Local marketing works whether you are a massage therapist or locksmith, or own a yogurt shop or boutique clothing store.
