Gubbey Records Set To Release New Cassette Blind Tigers-“Mosquito” EP

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - March 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Gubbey Records is all set to release its new cassette Blind Tigers "Mosquito," a six-song debut EP in an all-ages event on April 11, 2015 at 8 pm at the Modern Cult Records, 2001 Frankfort Ave, Louisville, Kentucky, $5.00 donation, no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Performing at the event will be the Louisville, KY bands: Blind Tigers (Pop/Punk/Garage), Opposable Thumbs (Punk/No Wave) and Satellite Twin (Prog/Punk). The Blind Tigers “Mosquito” EP will be available for sale at the event for $5.00.

A spokesperson from the company commented on the event: “Yes, we are proud to present the Blind Tigers "Mosquito". It’s a six song debut Extended Play cassette w/ digital download that will be released in an exciting event going to be held in the month of April. The talented Vocalist/Guitarist Dia Thompson sings with a sugar-coated snarl, while drummer Badnewz Brandum and bassist Paul Robey weave garage rock beats over punchy smooth tunes while a trebler-than-thou guitar screeches atop.” He further added, “The resulting sound, captured within the brief lapse of eighteen minutes and forty-five seconds, harkens back to the Runaways and combines garage rock with early 60s pop.”
