Google Apps Whois Class Action

Abington Cole + Ellery is conducting a class action investigation regarding the Google Apps for Work service whois data leak.

March 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Abington Cole + Ellery is conducting a class action lawsuit investigation regarding Google's exposure of the complete hidden whois data for nearly 300,000 domains registered through the Google Apps for Work service.

Through a partnership with registrar eNom, Google Apps for Work charges $6 per year to hide from public view all personal information included in domain name whois records.

Beginning in mid-2013, a software flaw in Google Apps for Work began leaking the private data, including names, phone numbers, physical addresses, e-mail addresses. The flaw caused the whois data to become public upon renewal of a domain registration.

If you use Google Apps for Work and paid for your whois data to be kept private, and would like to participate in a class action lawsuit regarding this data leak, please contact Abington Cole + Ellery or visit the following website: http://www.abingtonlaw.com/Google-Apps-Whois-class-action-lawsuit.html

There is no cost to participate in this class action lawsuit.
