SpringPeople Team Joins Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan

BANGALORE, India - March 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Friday evening, the time when most of us like to relax and enjoy the mood of “Thanks God It’s Friday”, Team SpringPeople went out with a mission in their mind - Clean a children’s park/playground of all the garbage & litter.

The Park:

Located in HSR Layout, Bangalore, the park is very popular among local residents. During evenings, kids from neighbourhood flock to run and play in the park. The park fills with sweet shrills of kids running around and shouting. It’s all hunky-dory, except littering; plastic bags, paper, wrappers, bottles, cans etc littered all around - an eyesore for all park users.

The Activity:

Team SpringPeople came together and started scouting around every nook and corner of the park, collecting all the litter. Couple of hours later – it was an altogether a different park – the new look was restored and the park was again spic and span! Creating this big change in the park in just couple of hours delighted all of us. And as a pleasant surprise – groups of residents & kids present in the park came over to us and started thanking us ardently for cleaning their park. We felt so rewarded!

By carrying out this activity at Organization level, every employee of SpringPeople has become a contributor and a part of the prestigious Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan – the national level mega-initiative by the Prime Minister of India. And to provide perpetual momentum to this initiative, SpringPeople has nominated 10 more organisations from it’s Client/Vendor community to participate in this noble campaign.

We hope that this small step will initiate a chain among our eco-system and they too will participate in this noble campaign of keeping our country clean.
