Avasant Foundation Charity Golf Event Raises over $200,000 to Empower Youth on Global Scale

LOS ANGELES - March 13, 2015 - PRLog -- Held of March 9^th, the Avasant Foundation 2^nd Annual Golf for Impact Charity Event attracted over 120 attendees, 21 sponsors and raised $205,500 to improve the lives of youth and children in emerging economies.  Held at the Mountain Gate Country Club in Los Angeles, the event attracted sponsorships from major global technology companies.

“The funds raised will go directly to the needs of Youth in communities worldwide. It is our responsibility as a global corporate citizen to build, develop and provide programs that will help create jobs for youths here in the US and around the world,” said Kevin Parikh, Chairman of Avasant Foundation and CEO of Avasant. “Avasant has been at the forefront of creating employment opportunities by providing skill development programs to Youth and funding education for children in emerging economies through its impact sourcing initiatives.
