Among the notable changes are the integrated Glare-Shield™ & AutoShine™ visual enhancing technologies. While Glare-Shield™ detects ambient levels of light and auto-adjusts the brightness, AutoShine™ dissipates the sunlight and reduces both direct and indirect sunlight glare. The new case design has allowed for a slimmer, lighter unit, which in turn allows for easier service, installation and retrofitting existing openings. The A-Series also features gold plated connectors, internal surge protection and a ruggedized power supply for climate resistance. Adaptive’s strict ISO9001 QC and QC policies require all A-Series displays to pass thermal, cold start, sign integrity, flame, impact & rain, immunity and surge protection tests.

Adaptive currently offers 3 display options, including the Elite 7.8mm, Premier 16mm and Classic 20mm. “Most companies offer a 10mm as their high resolution display, but we wanted to jump way ahead of that.
