Sean Kavanaugh, CEO of The Ariel Group to speak at Exit Planning Exchange (XPX) 2015 Sumitt

LEXINGTON, Mass. - March 12, 2015 - PRLog -- The Exit Planning Exchange (XPX) Boston announces that Sean Kavanagh, CEO of The Ariel Group will be a featured panelist at the XPX Boston annual Summit on March 19th, 2015 at The Conference Center at Waltham Woods.

“The Progression of Succession” is the theme of the 2015 Summit. Well known advisors and owners, such as Kavanagh, will share their practical knowledge and experience on preparing for and successfully executing business succession.  Kavanagh will participate in a panel discussion focused on “Exit Strategies and Options You Should Consider.”  Other topics at this year’s Summit include growth capital, ESOP’s, internal ownership transition, management and leadership succession and sale. The Summit will run from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM with a reception afterwards.

The Ariel Group, headquartered in Lexington, Massachusetts, helps business professionals develop an authentic presence, connect and communicate effectively, inspire action and build relationships to drive results.  Kavanagh joined the company in 1999 as Director of Business Development and was named CEO in 2003.

Kavanagh, who once performed with the American Theater Company, is also a recognized speaker and facilitator; he lives at the intersection of business and the performing arts both as leader of Ariel and as a speaker and facilitator.  He combines his business knowledge and performing experience in delivering storytelling workshops where he talks about the integration of the skills of the actor/performer with the expertise of leaders in business and non-profits.

Kavanagh is a resident of Concord, Massachusetts and a graduate of Merrimack College with a B. A. in Psychology.  He is a member of The American Society for Training & Development and on the board of The Association of Learning Providers.

In addition to featured speakers, the summit will include panelists and a fireside chat.  The highly interactive format will allow business owners and advisors to share personal lessons learned, tips and tricks, and stories regarding the requirements for successful management transition and exit.
