The Odds Favor a Trip to the Sweet 16

Put Up A Prayer is a national three-point contest open to anyone in the United States.  There are two-divisions: the open division for ages 15 and older and the junior division for ages 14 and under.  Three-point shooters register along with a team captain, who is responsible for helping them earn three-point shots through sponsorships, a.k.a. their “fans.”  The top 8 shooters in each division, along with their team captains, win a trip to the Finals.

The top 8 participants from each division will win a trip to the Finals.  The Junior Division currently stands the best chance to go.  With only 7 registered they all win a trip to the Finals if they raise sponsorship to shoot the minimum 10 shots.  The Open Division currently has 41 participants, which means each participant has a 20% chance of making it to the Finals.
