Salt Lake City Based Launch Logistics Aims to Fill 40 Jobs in 2015

SALT LAKE CITY - March 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Intended to rapidly expand Unishippers’ salesforce and customer service expertise while operating alongside its accelerating franchise network, Launch Logistics, a subsidiary of Unishippers Global Logistics (http://www.unishippers.com/), LLC, began operations in late 2014 in Salt Lake City. In response to continued revenue growth, the company announced their intentions to increase their team by up to 30 employees through April and up to 40 through the end of 2015.

According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, Salt Lake City has seen an annual increase (http://www.bls.gov/eag/eag.ut_saltlakecity_msa.htm)– a rise of 3 percent in 2014– in the number of business services jobs since 2009. Supporting those encouraging figures, within the first six months of operations, Launch Logistics is on track to reach annualized revenue of $24 million in 2015 and has doubled its workforce since December. Launch Logistics is continuing to build upon positive job growth locally by actively filling sales and customer service positions in early 2015.
