SANTA MONICA, Calif. - March 12, 2015 - PRLog -- (Santa Monica, CA; March 11, 2015) - - Nordic Body announced today it is offering a free community fitness class on Saturday March 28, 2015.

Where to meet:  2600 Bernard Way, Santa Monica, CA 90401.

At the end of Ocean Park Blvd by the beach, on the grassy area between the play-ground & Perry’s Café.

Time:  10am – 11:15am

Parking:  Parking Lot #5

Who should attend:  Open to the public.  Anyone aged 16 and up. Seniors welcome!

What to wear:  Comfortable clothing and walking sneakers.

Bonus:  Everyone participating will get a chance to receive a 6 week package of Nordic Walking Classes at a value of $110.

The class instructor and creator of the 8-Week Body Makeover Program, Malin Svensson, is an International Fitness Coach/Author/Speaker, and one of the leading authorities in Nordic Walking worldwide.  Malin clarifies the benefit from Nordic Walking, “It’s easier to get into shape because Nordic Walking burns up to 46% more calories than regular walking without increased exertion.”

Nordic Walking takes fitness walking to a new level by adding poles to produce an incredible upper body workout. This workout increases your endurance, strengthens your core, arms, chest, back, buttocks and legs, improves your posture and flexibility and it takes stress off your ankle, knee and hip joints.

After the free class, attendees are invited to head over to Perry’s Café for a healthy snack and to meet some new friends who will be taking part in the 8-Week Body Makeover Program.
