CHICAGO - March 11, 2015 - PRLog -- NAPERVILLE, Ill.—ClearSounds Communications, the leading manufacturer of listening devices for people with hearing loss, is excited to announce that their A400 Amplified Talking Cordless Phone has just been added to the options of free amplified telephones available through the Florida Telecommunications Relay, Inc. (FTRI) program.

FTRI is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that administers the Specialized Telecommunications Equipment Distribution Program for citizens of the state of Florida who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf/blind or speech challenged. The amplified telephones and ring-signalers distributed through the program are loaned at no cost to permanent Florida residents aged 3 and up who are certified as having a hearing loss or speech impairment.

The FTRI program is already offering the ClearSounds CSC500 Amplified Spirit Phone, winner of the 2011 Mature Market Resource Center’s New Product & Technology Award. With up to 40 dB of incoming sound amplification, big-button keypad, amplified speakerphone and bright visual indicators, the CSC500 has been a tried-and-true corded phone for years. It will continue to be offered by the FTRI program alongside the newest addition, the A400 Amplified Talking Cordless Phone.

But for anyone seeking enhanced landline communication with the option of portability within the home, the A400 is an exciting cordless alternative. As ClearSounds’ second phone to be distributed by FTRI, the A400 includes a big-button keypad, talking Caller ID and talking keypad, 4 one-touch memory dial keys, bright visual ringer, 200 entry capacity phonebook and full duplex speakerphone. The A400 also allows you to create your ideal customized sound experience, providing up to 40 dB of incoming sound amplification, six-level ringer volume control, 10 ringtone options and fully-adjustable volume and tone levels, ensuring that each call is tailored specifically to your preferences. Another convenient feature of the A400 is the ability to add extension handsets, which ClearSounds sells separately and are not available through the FTRI program.

The ClearSounds A400 amplified cordless phone and CSC500 amplified corded phone are available at no cost to qualified Florida residents.
