Denver Seminary to Launch Extension Campus in West TexasIn August 2015, theological education will be available to busy adults in Amarillo and throughout West Texas.
By: Denver Seminary Through a flexible online and on-campus delivery system, students in West Texas can attend seminary classes that incorporate evening, weekend intensive, face-to-face, and online class options, as well as real-time compressed video classes with other campuses. Whether full or part-time, students can take advantage of a curriculum that provides the strong theological and biblical foundation needed for ministry. Along with rigorous academics, students will receive support and guidance from individual mentors who will help them focus on spiritual formation and ministry skill development through personalized learning that fits individual interests and callings. Dr. Mark Young, President of Denver Seminary, states, “We are thrilled to partner with Hillside Christian and a number of other churches to bring accredited, graduate-level, theological education to West Texas. We believe that solid theological training is a critical foundation for credible and effective ministry.
