Atlanta, GA.  3/11/15 – The Atlanta based Youth Mentoring Organization, Dukes Foundation is inviting Corporations and Philanthropists to partner with them as they continue to addresses opportunity gaps faced by boys and young men.

Businesses can reap direct benefit from a better equipped workforce.  Providing good exposure and building the social and emotional capacity of young men are important factors in achieve those goals. This and other initiatives such as Saturday STEM Academy are part of the effective complimentary Learning Communities hosted by the Dukes Foundation’s mentoring program for over a decade.

One part of the social and emotional capacity initiative is the annual College Tour which will begin on April 7^th through the 11^th in Washington D.C. and New York City. To make this Tour possible the support of businesses is critical. Turner Construction Company is a sponsor. “It is our hope that we will receive support from other corporations for this important program as good exposure makes a major difference in the lives of young men”, commented Micki Esposito, Chief Development Officer of the Dukes Foundation.

Speaking of the success of this mentioning organization, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Horace Dukes, noted that over thirty mentees from the metro Atlanta area are currently in colleges across the country including two with scholarships to Emory University and Morehouse College.
