By: IJIS Institute Steve Ambrosini, executive director of the IJIS Institute, presented a check for $7,000 to John Ryan, president and CEO of NCMEC. Ambrosini said, “NCMEC’s mission of recovering America’s missing children, reducing child sexual exploitation, and preventing child victimizationis a cause that is important to the IJIS Institute and everyone in our nation. We are especially pleased to present this donation from the Badge & Tech Benefit & Awards Dinner to NCMEC to support that mission.” The IJIS Institute’s Badge & Tech Benefit & Awards Dinner is an annual event held in January that raises money for a worthy nonprofit that is making a significant difference in public safety and in the well-being of the nation. The dinner also honors individuals and companies who have made significant contributions in information technology to the justice, public safety, and homeland security communities. End
