Women in local government leadership roles are confronted with a diverse set of challenges.

In an already tough sector environment, women are faced with limited progression prospects due to the small percentage of female representation on leadership teams and boards, and thus this Summit will offer insight for aspiring leaders in to what it takes to attain senior and executive roles in local government.

Successful women with vast experience leading within their organisations will provide crucial advice and practical knowledge on what females can do to cultivate and utilise their unique skills to develop a respected leadership presence.
