PORTLAND, Ore., March 10, 2015 – Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage Inc. will open its ninth store in Oregon. The Denver-based natural and organic grocery store will be located at Barbur Boulevard and Capitol Hill Road in Portland. An opening date has not been announced.

The store will feature a mix of national brands and locally-grown, raised and manufactured products from Oregon in a small, friendly environment.
Natural Grocers currently has 93 stores in 15 states, employing more than 2,000 people. As consumers increasingly seek out healthy, affordable shopping choices, Natural Grocers continues to expand its geographic footprint. The location is one of 18 Natural Grocers stores expected to open in fiscal year 2015.
