2015 Pacific Rim Book Festival Awards Presentations, 31 March 2015, Honolulu, HI, USA

HONOLULU - March 9, 2015 - PRLog -- 31 March 2015 will present the public the opportunity of attending two separate but related, same-day literary events:

1.  Savant Books and Publications, a Honolulu-based publisher, is pleased to announce that the 2015 Pacific Rim Book Festival awards presentations will be held this year on Tuesday, 31 March 2015, at 6 p.m. in the Parlor Room of the Moana Surfrider Hotel "on the beach at Waikiki," in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.

Among the 83 award winners are seven Savant Books and Publications works including THE LAZARUS CONSPIRACIES by Richard Rose, THE JUDAS LIST by A. G. Hayes, IN THE EYES OF THE SON by Hans Brinckmann, VOLUTIONS - 2014 SAVANT POETRY ANTHOLOGY edited by Suzanne Langford, THE OIL MAN by Leon Puissegur, LAST SONG OF THE WHALES by Four Arrows and TROPIC OF CALIFORNIA by R. Page Kaufman.

The awards presentations will be followed by a reception with heavy pupus and no-host bar to allow the public to meet and interview award-winning authors and publishers, one-on-one, from 6:30 p.m. through 10 p.m. or close of meeting.

The awards presentations and reception is open to the public. Tickets are $110 and can be pre-purchased by emailing "orders@jmnorthernmedia.com" -- media representatives must state such, along with their name and the name of their organization, if requesting a complementary media ticket. Validated valet parking is available during the event is $7 per car.

2. The Pacific Rim Book Festival Awards will be preceeded by the separately sponsored 2015 Honolulu Writers, Authors and Poets Gathering the same day and location from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. This is not a usual writers' conference; it's a place for writers, authors, and poets (published or unpublished), editors, publishers, agents and anyone interested in enduring media publication to schmooze together one-on-one. There will be opportunities for moderated small group discussions on topic selected by participants. Refreshments will be available.

Pre-purchase tickets are $25 before 28 March 2015, or $30 at the door. Media representatives must state such, along with their name and the name of their organization, if requesting a complementary media ticket.
